@MotherDucker Dad was a big Gordon Lightfoot fan. For Mom it would be something religious. 'De Colores' is the only song that comes to mind.
@rpardee my mom loved Harry Chapin so I think of Remember When The Music for her. Dad has cemented American Pie in my soul from countless bonfires and power outages in my rural childhood home.
