Kiddo’s #anxiety was amped up today, revisiting worries we had fed to her imaginary robot trash dog. 😓 Not the most emotionally difficult ones, but certainly ones we worked hard to kick. Like trusting her eyes to tell her there’s nothing in or on her hands instead of needing an adult to verify. She was playing with her gemstone collection and needed me to tell her there were none in her hands before she ate her snack. Same with the wrapper for her babybel cheese. 😣

@MotherDucker *hugs* It has not for me, no. And it gets worse when we have to do an exposure therapy. Just know when you see her beginning to acknowledge "this is just my brain lying to me, give me a moment, I'll be okay" you know you've done the right thing and have helped guide her to being able to control and cope with her issues more and more the older she gets.
