I faithfully click unsubscribe on each of the 12 daily “can I count on your vote/donation/support?” emails.
The next day I get 17.
@MotherDucker That's oh so complicated.. we need them to convert to renewables but they are skimming off the top for their Wall Street masters.
We need to overhaul or overthrow Capitalism. The greed of humans makes it impossible to keep it under control.
I think clicking unsubscribe just tells them "Ooh we've got a live one!".
@MotherDucker You should never click unsub (as you've realized) because it just confirms your email is active and they add your name to the list. Just put them in the spam folder and they should auto go there. For texts, just block that number. It's still a pain.

Like, maybe if ya’ll reined in the criminally greedy utility companies, I’d have spare funds to kick your way.
