Some teens saw my brother's pride bumper sticker and tried running him off the road in their truck today.
Trying not to let it negate the great day we had getting pride themed ciders and prints from local queer artists, though.
But honestly, what the hell is wrong with people?
@JakeA oh I had an interesting confrontation from a coworker and I can only believe it was because I was wearing a pride shirt at work. She was trying to shame me about letting my child attend public school where there will read my daughter books to make her gay or trans.
Bitch, we’ve been reading woke and wonderful books for 6 years including representation of all the humans with whom we share this planet.

@MotherDucker That's ridiculous. I try to empathize with these people to figure out effective ways to communicate with them, but there are no threads of logic to follow and it always leaves me feeling sad.
