The amount of resentment I currently feel for the nurses who decided en masse to play a “Disney Hits” playlist, and not quietly, is like a 7/10. I get it that they need motivation or a mood boost, but I cannot think, read, or compute to music with lyrics. Especially lyrics I recognize. My brain tunes into only that. Reading comprehension plummets, conversation is halting, mathematics are impossible.

From middle-high school one or more students did that for a science fair project every single year. Testing multiplication to the pop hits of that year. It was humiliating. Every. Single. Year. 😒
Oh and they’re all singing along. Badly. My day has gone from pleasant to unbearable.
