What books do you treasure the memory of your mom or dad (aunt, uncle, or older sibling) reading to you as a child?

@MotherDucker my mom never read to me. but i did 💜 reading from a very young age.

i did 💜 when my 5th grade teacher read to us. there would be a 1/2 hour at the end of each day where she would read from a book. she did a wrinkle in time. and this can't be happening at macdonald high - the adventures of bruno & boots. 😊

@MotherDucker what? I read P.G. Wodehouse to my kids (Crime Wave at Blandings was a hit) but my parents never read to me. I had to read to them. It was “Go Dog Go!” and then I was flying solo.

@MotherDucker I don’t remember my parents reading to me, but they always encouraged my reading.
