@MotherDucker Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, and the authorship of the Shakespeare plays. It started with watching "Anonymous" and then I got hooked. Just finished "Shakespeare By Another Name" by Mark Anderson. (Not really research in the sense that you are using, as it is more of an appreciation of the research of others, but it has definitely been a bird walk.)
