With the amount of hate and violence directed towards members of the #LGBTQ + community, bans on conversion therapy are a bare minimum we should have.

We are outright failing to protect people at their most vulnerable.

Just to remind everyone for this new week that life is NOT a rehearsal. This is it. So make it count. In whatever way you can, just do it.

It’s worth noting where CO Springs and Denver are located. Yes, we’re a growing blue island but that’s the thing, we’re surrounded by a sea of red.

LGBTQ+ communities everywhere are full of individuals who fled strict homes to find themselves. Colorado is no exception. Sharing borders and being close to more conservative places like the Dakotas, the Front Range is often the first large metro marginalized people end up calling home.
