Why I joined COSO

I'm throwing my meager weight behind a social platform that prioritizes authentic & well-intentioned interaction. Organized hate and disinformation shouldn't be tolerated as legitimate opinion or "free speech." It is both technologically possible & ethically imperative to organize our communities to exclude such sociopathy. While industry leaders remain mired in the laissez-faire sandbox mindset of Usenet, I'm hoping COSO presents a sane alternative for the future.
