I’d noticed there weren’t many #hummingbird visits today, and while it’s windy and cool out, I thought about the nectar, and wondered if it needed changing.

So I go out and rinse out the feeder and refill it, and precisely ONE MINUTE later:

I’m thinking that I might add some kind of solar powered night light dealy, as the hummingbirds seem to eat breakfast before the sun. Like this guy having an early start:

You know some people say Ferraris are sexy, but none so sexy as Sammy Hagar’s LaFerrari (such a dumb name too) in ‘hearing aid beige’.

That’s the ugliest damn thing I think I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a Fiat Multipla.

Seeing NPH as a hard ass is funny all by itself, but I also liked how a battle for earth’s survival was couched in such human-centric terms. Like, we weren’t in it for the dolphins, or monarch butterflies or any other species- just humans. So divinely arrogant and true to type.
