There’s a false rumor that fElon bought Ford. If I was a multi-billionaire I’d consider it. $43B market cap, it’s possible.

I’d buy them and make them make a simple modular modern electric “people’s car”. The Model T put them on the map, and they forgot all about it.

Carbon fiber tub frames, modular swappable standard battery packs, recycled aluminum body panels (that shared parts across multiple body styles), all while supporting the union.

It’d bleed cash at the start, but the whole damned company is chump change to these tech oligarchs.

I’d also go big on retrofitting classic gas cars people already own. I’d make an electric crate engine that was a drop in replacement for GM LS engines (dimensionally) and gearboxes.

It’s all a pipe dream of course. They’d rather have penisy rockets.
