WTF? I was wondering who the fuck ever had an “Aunt Rhody” as in the song, ‘Go Tell Aunt Rhody, The Old Gray Goose Is Dead’ and while I never got that sorted out, I saw this: “It originated as a gavotte in the 1752 opera Le devin du village (The Village Soothsayer) by Jean-Jacques Rousseau”

A “gavotte” is a “medium-paced French dance”.

The fuck? Someone would dance to that buzzkill of a dirge?

I’m more weirded out than before I wondered about Aunt fucking Rhody.

@MookyTroubadour

😂 kind of tempts me to play it and see if I could somehow💃to it.
