It was never about the songs anyway. The songs were just a vehicle for the merch. Even I will admit ALIVE! Is listenable as an artifact.

I don’t even think they play live anymore and haven’t for many years. It’s mostly pre-recorded. The legend had always been that ALIVE 2’s vocals and guitar solos were all recorded after the fact (at electric lady studio in nyc). Never been a big fan. Too much merch. Not enough good songs.
