US healthcare is not at all concerned with outcomes or even reason. Girlie is suffering from Vertigo. It’s not common but has happened before. There is no path to remedy. Either be seen by her doc in September (by which it’ll certainly be gone) or go sit in an ER all day and *maybe* get help. Urgent care offers over the counter Dramamine which doesn’t help. Sheesh.

@MookyTroubadour Has she tried other OTC motion sickness meds? Bonine helped me a lot when I had my first bout several months back. I was able to function and go through these maneuvers. It cleared up after 3 days and thankfully hasn't returned.

@Ironworker229 they tried Dramamine, which is a similar sleepier option and that made no noticeable difference. :(

I don’t know if she’d react more favorably to Bonine, but I suppose it’s worth a try. They ended up giving her some heavy duty med that you use by way of a topical patch and that seems to have made progress.

The whole process is such a palaver. All the docs outside of the ER were too scared to prescribe anything, and the ER doc wanted a CAT scan. Really? For something that’s in her records as having happened before?
