Oddly enough, there was a drive in by my childhood home that started out mainstream and then switched to porn. We were close enough that we could see blurry, general shapes if we used binocs from my bedroom windows.*
Ride your bikes a few miles and sit on the far side of the railroad tracks behind the elementary school & viewing was much clearer (no sound).
Or so I was told.
*Mom never knew.
