Well, I’m not sure that my expectations were all that fair. They sound *okay*. I suspect it’s down to the drivers I chose (https://a.co/d/bqypawG). They fit (mostly),are 8 Ohm, and were cheap.
I’m listening to Leon Redbone, and he doesn’t push the highs or lows especially, and they’re agreeable.
No real high end or low end (go figure). I might’ve been wise to whip up a low pass filter, at maybe 80Hz. Hmm. The enclosures seem decent- I might want to scale up and try a bigger driver.
