When I’m trying to scrutinize #HiFi gear, I usually listen to Pink Floyd and Steely Dan- both those acts were obsessive about recording quality. You know who else was, and doesn’t seem to get recognized for it (in addition to being a galactically underrated guitar player)?

Prince. The sound quality is consistently exceptional.
