@WILDKATZ two things happened when I had pneumonia: 1/ I threw up. 2/ My lungs HURT.
Don’t know if that’s typical. I *hope* you don’t have pneumonia. I felt a lot better after they gave me a bunch of IV fluids at the hospital.

I supported Elizabeth Warren for Pres so you know what my policy priorities are and . . . my close family has worked for the US military. The "secret" of the Pentagon budget is that it includes money for stuff that couldn't get passed through Congress, like foreign aid, help for refugees, education, etc. The folks who want good things don't talk about it b/c then the good stuff would be stripped. But military $ isn't all bombs & bullets

Judge Thomson found no grounds that Maricopa County committed intentional misconduct.
MAGA candidates all got swept in court.
I have a suggestion to improve journalism and political discourse in general: Instead of using the term "conspiracy theorist" for someone, substitute these words: "tinfoil hat delusional crazy person."

#Refineries all over the #Houston area are flaring off chemicals that cannot be safely stored during the freeze.
Refineries do more than make gas for cars. We all depend on these chemicals for everyday life. Not all refineries, especially the extremely old ones in the Houston area, are equipped to safely store or affordably store them during extreme freezes. (This is part of the reason why some companies are unloading these plants.)

The #Jan6committee recommendations on the #media are very weak. It places the blame on on-air personalities, rather than the management of the companies. Fox, Breitbart, Newsmax and OAN played an outsized role in perpetuating the big lie. Talk radio is barely mentioned either. This is the recommendation of the committee.
