WARNING FROM EU AND UN
The United Nations has joined the European Union in condemning Twitter's decision to suspend some journalists who cover the social media firm. The UN tweeted that media freedom is "not a toy" while the EU has threatened Twitter with sanctions. Melissa Fleming, the UN's under secretary general for global communications, said she was "deeply disturbed" by reports that journalists were being "arbitrarily" suspended from Twitter.
I've been thinking about my Dad --and how medicine has changed so much since he was in practice. These days, doctors must spend so much time looking at their screens and checking boxes. Makes their jobs harder, I think. I said it better here: #medicine #healthpolicy #doctors

Uh . . . I must have missed something. The New York Young Republicans at their "annual gala" were in a tizzy because they are "at war" with "the left." I assume that includes most teachers, scientists, artists, musicians, Democrats, etc. I hadn't noticed. Was there some "battle in the street" that I missed? Please advise.

I can write a para on history/culture but would like to include some ideas about how to celebrate the solstice on a personal level. Maybe a nice photo, a prayer, or suggestion for a family. Cool too if contemporary pagan practices included.
