My mom would have been 71 today. She'll have been gone 10 years Jan 15.

She enjoyed fishing, bought a boat and learned to tie her own flies. She also loved painting - self-taught by watching Bob Ross on PBS. She produced many paintings which are enjoyed by many friends and family.
The last painting she ever did, in 96, is mine.

My Mom passed on Dec 8, 2006 — so I recently went through an anniversary of loss. This memory helped me (and hope it will help you)— I was crying in her hospital room and she woke up (she had been non responsive for some days). She asked why I was crying. I said, I don’t want you to leave! She said, Oh, Mary—I will always be with you.
She was right. She’s here always.
