Oh what an exciting invitation! Today I have been imagining how to divert flash flood rainwater around the barn we’re moving into. I am hoping I can teach our contractor/landscaper what a swale actually is. I know he’s really well intentioned but so far his ideas will not work & he doesn’t know it. He’s not reading the runnels and the earth signs that tell the story of how the water is moving across the land when there’s too much. Swell & swale are not the same.

I’m in my horizontal intersleep awakeness. So this is a lovely good morning #1, hopefully followed by a more vertical good morning #2. I see emails I don’t want to read floating in & I’m not giving in to them. Later perhaps.
