Often, when I saw something amiss, the profile in violation was gone before I could even get it reported. The first person who saw it, flagged it and it was dealt with faster than the refresh rate of the timeline
Quite literally, by the time I clicked “Send” on the report, the profile as already gone

Out of curiousity, does Google respond to explanations of the contortions that were gone through to comply?

No response to any of my direct mentions so far. But to be fair, whomever is operating the @googleplay account here is all but certainly an employee tasked with certain directives to carry out. It is unlikely they would respond. But that doesn’t mean they would not assimilate the information the posts contain. We can only hope they realize how little there is to worry about from having this app on their store
