@Heyjojo I take one, I'll leave one. This song reminds me of my ex-fiance, we were still friends until her RIP earlier this year, friends for 20 years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmmPFrkuPq0
@Mikethewander1 Well now. First… I’m so very sorry for your loss. That’s a long lasting friendship. ❤️🩹❤️🩹🙏🙏
Second- this one you chose is one of my top 5 Moody Blues tunes. I love it deeply.
Another? The Story In Your Eyes
Exquisite, don’t you think? ♥️
@Heyjojo Thanks & yes! I used be part of Twitter group that went by #musicislife I concur❤️ I was writing my memoirs and realized how much of my life is reflected in the joy of music.
I had been around the world by 19 years of age, so... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZiSuKLOKeM
@Mikethewander1 whoa… around the world by 19? That must be some memoir, you travelin man!
😃👊
@Heyjojo Not finished yet. I do need to figure out how to do it, medium and format. LOL When people ask me where I'm from, it's a loaded question.
I was born in San Francisco, lived in 7 states, 2 cities in each and 4 in Florida and 2 cities in Germany before I was the age of 17. I joined the U.S. Navy out of Germany and was in Basic Training 5 days after my 17th birthday. I went from there to Australia, the Coast of Africa, Guam, Hawaii, the Philippines and Japan. 😉 ❤️
@Heyjojo Thanks, it's been a hell of a ride and I have scars to prove it. LOL Or as one of my favourite movie hero's said "It's not the years, it's the mileage"
Well, these days it's both, I'm 59 so I better get it finished quick before my memories are gone or I kick it.
It is an odd feeling to have completed my bucket list before having one.
Yes, I speak some German, I loved the food & people of everyplace I've been but I didn't care for NY/NY too crowded.
@Heyjojo I'll have to admit that I did not get to see that side of life. My journey was a working one. I did get to meet my Great Uncle who played trumpet with Louie Armstrong. My Uncle wouldn't leave Manhattan for the most part & never South of the Mason-Dixon line for that could mean his death. He was a black man married to a white woman so you can guess why that would be a danger back then.
As for my book, I most certainly will. Thanks. ❤️ 👍
@Mikethewander1 🙏♥️🙏♥️
@Mikethewander1 oh sorry to hear that about NYC. But I get it. I think it’s an acquired taste. I’m from the ‘burbs but have a deep love for NYC.I worked down on Wall Street for a bunch of years. and still frequent the place- jazz clubs, Broadway, dance. . When you’ve got your book complete, please shout it out! 🙏👊
