My univercity removed the comission we were in, so now i had to get into a new one (we could sign in the ones we wanted, so me and a friend of mine got into a diferent one than the one the rest signed in). At the beginning i was excited about meeting new people π€©, but now anxiety is kicking in. What if my new classmates aren't as i expect? What if they don't talk to me even though i try or if they are rude? (Starting next week) π«π΅βπ«
@Bliss thanks for the advice π«, i thought i was leaving behind my shy personality and getting more social skills but now the process got fucked up a bit π« . This is very usefull for me, i'll try to do my best π«‘.
@Miella
It's a mere setback. whats important is that you share about your anxiety and fears and keep working on them. In that sense, you're doing great kid!
@Miella okay. First lets pause and take some time to do some breathing exercises.
Second, you shared a lot of fear. It's understandable that the uncertainty makes you anxious. But you will see that a month from now there will be people you connect with and even like. Between now and a month from now all that is required are 3 things:
1) you show up
2) give yourself the oppty to let others know you
3) be patient with the process of getting to know others even if they are shy or seem rude/afraid.
