This is turning into a total soap opera.
It remains unclear to me that, short of his dropping dead, it's even possible to remove a convention-certified official nominee for Vice President from a ticket.
Of course, if they somehow managed it, every Democrat in the country would be shouting, "Oh, look! It's a COUP!"
