Santa Claus is a multi-dimensional quantum being, capable of existing in all places at once, hence his ability to deliver toys to children around the world in one night without ever actually leaving the North Pole.
Collapse those wave functions just *once* and they all collapse simultaneously....

If a single child were to gaze upon Santa during this rite, a singularity would be created, resulting in Santa appearing in that location only, with no children receiving presents. Not even the child that saw Santa, as they were NAUGHTY!
So, remember, don't ruin Christmas for the world by trying to catch a glimpse of Santa!
