Monday I had outpatient surgery to remove a kidney stone. Pain started on the way home and got worse and worse. My aunt dropped me at home and went to fill scrip.

Pretty sure I passed a stone 2 hrs after getting home. I have never in my life felt pain like that. Not when I fractured my hip or gave birth.

The pain meds did nothing. It was basically just anti-inflammatory meds. Thank god the pain went away almost immediately after passing the stone.

Has anyone else had that kind of pain?

@Meri Yep. I suffered them for years and once in a while they come back to haunt me. Worst pain I've ever felt in my life. Last time I had one, I hit the floor and couldn't move for a long while. My mother had them once too and said it was the worst thing and compared to giving birth.

I haven't had children but I believe her. I'm sorry you have to suffer them. They suck.
