If you have even the littlest bit of energy today, be a helper.
Be the one who answers if a friend reaches out
Be the one to ping someone who might be feeling low today
Be kind. Have integrity. Show up.
Nothing and no one can take that from you.

So how do we survive so that we have something left to give and pick up the pieces?
Go local.
Leave off national news, relationships, and social media that feeds frustration and panic.
Maintain and develop local service and participation opportunities.
Take physical and mental care of ourselves.
It's a siege, and the smart conserve their energy and resources for the future battle.
Don't be a dodo bird, my daughter Eryn says. They are no longer around to help.

Last Friday @georgecmarshall
gave the Goodpaster award to Gen. James McConville, who like Gen. George Marshall served as Army Chief of Staff.
The celebration was lovely, held at the Army Navy Country Club.

OMGGG!! These are the rankings through Sept 17th. We have had several group placements since then. My total points currently sit at 125, and that's not counting the wins not published yet! That means WE ARE THE #1 or #2 OWNER HANDLED BOXER IN THE COUNTRY! πππππ

I've been lucky to work with both authors and also the producers of Elizebeth Friedman Cryptanalyst Pioneer https://www.pbs.org/video/elizebeth-friedman-cryptanalyst-pioneer/
@CherNohio
How are things this morning?
#ElizebethSmithFriedman left this world on Halloween, 1980.
Elizebeth & her husband, William, invented the science of cryptology. She worked as the chief cryptanalyst for the Coast Guard breaking codes during Prohibition; & for the Navy locating Nazi spies during #WWII. Elizebeth was a federal employee 20 years, but was always temporary.
It's only in the last decade that she is finally getting credit for her work. Her collection is at the #MarshallFoundationLibrary: https://library.marshallfoundation.org/Portal/Default/en-US/Collections/Collection/1
