Blustery with highs in the 50s.

It's still raining and raw out, hovering about 40 F but I am not complaining we need it so badly!

On our first cold morning at the #MarshallFoundationLibrary, my favorite #MarshallWisdom temper moment:
"Get these blankets and stoves and every other damn thing that's needed out tonight, not tomorrow morning, and not two weeks from now.
I don't care what regulations are upset or anything of that character. We are going to take care of the troops first, last, and all the time."
On discovering that soldiers were enduring winter training without blankets, which had been ordered but not delivered.
