German cyber group Zerforschung has issued a warning that doesn’t beat around the bush. The blog post detailing its concerns with Hive Social is pretty to the point: Warning: do not use Hive Social. We thought we’d take a look at what they’re saying.

The issues we reported allow any attacker to access all data, including private posts, private messages, shared media and even deleted direct message

@ecksmc

I dumped it yesterday, because despite using their option to not see 🍆 pics, my suggested feed was 🍆 pics. Never even posted anything.

It's Iike a weird mutant child of Grindr & Pinterest, but with even less interaction.

@Agatha @ecksmc Asking users to use the hashtag nsfw to hide their 🍆 pics is naive.
The ‘New’ section and default hashtags were flooded by nsfw imagery. While the moderation team(?) does seem to remove them, they’re just not fast enough.

@McWabbit @ecksmc

Some of the 🍆 pics had been there awhile. I'm guessing they're overwhelmed.
