I occasionally wonder if past girlfriends for whom I made mixtapes many years ago still think of me when they hear any of those songs.

@Mathias I'm sure they do. Though it probably depends on how the breakup went. Personally I've given away mixtapes for some, and kept others (or replaced some of the music with new recordings). Mostly it's been co-workers that we shared music with each other, and those still bring back good memories.

i made my boyfriend a mixtape for his birthday :) i listen to a lot of tapes tho so i'm always trying to get folks into them with me.
