Cleaning things like the back of this 130-year-old frame, which only a few people will ever see, is an oddly satisfying hobby.
@NoahPaulLeGies I probably don't either. But I have time and do it in small sections else I would rush through as I got closer to the finish.
I love bring back the old wood, but to leave a bit of the patina here & there. Then stain & seal it. That comes from 2 parents that loved wood working.
@Mathias I don't have the patience for that kind of work, but I do enjoy watching restoration videos, either artwork or antiques.
