This year, I’ve got a large kitchen, the dining room is 10ft from the kitchen, and I’m feeling better thanks to the new round of cortisone shots in my knees two weeks ago. I never realized just how much my knees were affecting my back.

@see_the_sus dementia is a scary thing!!! I'm sure she'd be thrilled to spend time with you this holiday.
@see_the_sus I guess you have to look at how she was prior. My mom's husband had it when he died, and she had the same problems, but I reminded her of what he was like before and that he didn't choose to have dementia, it chose him. She learned to be a bit more patient which helped in the end.
Though you are the only one that knows how your mom was before. I hope you two manage to have a good time regardless and that she has one of her better days while there.
