#MS In the UK one of the research projects in the UK MS Register. It is a collaboration between the MS Society and Swansea University Medical School. You sign forms and then they have access to your medical data. The site records certain information and asks you to complete questionnaires that are compared over time. It can also introduce you to other research studies.

Just had the report from my November MRI - Stable appearances. No new lesions. The next one will happen in March.
If you have or know anyone with #MS they will find this fascinating. It also points the way of how this cause can be eliminated in the future.
More evidence that EBV is the cause of MS https://gavingiovannoni.substack.com/p/more-evidence-that-ebv-is-the-cause
What joy - I've just be sent an MRI for 11th March - something to look forward to. π (My last one was mid November). To add context they watch me carefully because I a) have MS b) am given a drug which could cause PML (Tysabri) c) I am JC Vrus positive and d) have taken it for over 5 years and my risk of PML goes up the longer I take it. BUT it is a DMD (disease modifying drug) and I will have 70% fewer relapses and should therefore deteriorate slower. (so worth the risk). #MS

I had a fairly detailed conversation with my Mum yesterday around coronavirus vaccines, T-cells, MS disease-modifying drugs and possible interactions. Still feeling weird considering neither of us has any science type qualifications past the basic school stuff. lol (my conclusions to her being there is risk that one could interfere with the other due to too many things doing stuff with t-cells at the same time and I need to be very careful which one I have when it is available.) #MS
