The BBC has been going on about folks going from Twitter to Mastodon. I just pointed out to my husband that they have been going to other places too 🙄
@Ravenlock tbh I've never used it - a friend/ex-colleague introduced me to CoSo a number of years ago and I've never left.
@Mandypar I’ve only been here a couple of days. I came looking for an alternative to the Bird as honestly the place is just a cess pit these days. I’m happy to say I quite like it here so far 😊

There is no moderation there. Not sure people who are going there understand this.
@Mandypar my experience this far of Mastodon…I waited 5 hours for an email to verify my account. Now I can’t log in because it says my details are wrong. I know email is right so I clicked to change password, that was 3 hours ago. I’m still waiting. It’s not really been a strong start for it in my eyes.
