Ford says the F150 Lightning can power your whole house if power goes out. What Ford does not tell you is it is about $18,000 for the components to allow the truck to plug into your house. And the truck itself is $80,000. Total🤔 $98,000. And people complain about the cost of food these days. Jeez😜
I paid $2500 for a whole house generator.

@MallyDaKatt Three years ago my eldest granddaughter and husband bought a big, black, diesel dodge Ram 3/4 ton 4WD pickup. It was so tall I couldn't see into the bed without stretching.
I asked how much it cost with all the interest and so on -- he didn't know. He did know that he could make the monthly payments.

@GeorgeG
It shows how little the dollar is worth now. In just my generation I have seen 4by4 trucks prices reach $80,000. The house my mom bought in the 1970's cost $65,000.
My generation is GenX.
