As a Bass player, I have been asked what style I play or my influence's. My style? Well a little of my Bass heroes. I stole a bit of each. As many musicians do. Not really stealing but emulating.

1. Geddy Lee
2. Geezer Butler
3. Lemmy Kilmister.

my #1 is steve harris...the band I played in forever, the guitarist had never listened to maiden...one day I threw on a track, and they were like "holy shit, you really do wanna be that guy"
so I was bit more in the "blatantly ripping off" camp... 😕
