So after heavily being criticized for downplaying antisemitism, Biden's press secretary used the bullshit excuse of "I misheard the question." Give me a fucking break. She heard the question loud and clear and decided the best response was "no credible threat." Now of course she's backpedaling & going into damage control. Biden needs a new press secretary. My little sister's married to an Egyptian-born minister. My big sister told me that my little sister believes there's hostility towards Israel because they invaded Egypt in the '50s. I did some digging & read that the 1956 war happened because Egypt was illegally blocking the Suez Canal to Israeli shipping. Egypt also trained terrorists to infiltrate Israel. I'm worried my little sister's getting bad information from her husband & it's skewing her perspective on Israel.

@Idissent Cornell professor Russell Rickford called the Hamas attacks on Israel"exhilarating" and "exciting" during a pro-Palestinian rally in New York. Since then he apologized and has taken a leave of absence. However, there's been calls to have him resign or fired.

Gen Z has become a cesspool of antisemitism. Just look at what's happening at high schools, colleges, & universities. They get told lies about Jews & Israel & they just lap it up. Groups like SJP have wreaked havoc for Jewish students. Of course it doesn't help that they have professors who demonize Jewish students & call the Hamas attacks "exhilarating." Many of them don't know about the Holocaust or they think it's a myth, or they think the Jews caused it. What a major disappointment.

Update: none of the Jewish students that sought refuge in Cooper Union College's library were harmed and the Anti-Israeli mob dispersed. No arrests were reported according to an NYPD source.
