Methinks that Greta Thunberg should just stick with climate change. And what's the deal with the octopus plushie?

@Magnetron1

That whole screenshot is breaking my brain.

A Jewish group posting a screenshot of an antisemitic trope within a post about Greta, who's in that post's ss holding a sign standing with Gaza.

Everything about this is weird.

@ExecutiveFunction404 I'm guessing the guy was trying to be tongue-in-cheek with that comment. 1495 people gave that Instagram post a like. That includes Logan Levkoff, who's a really big Jewish activist. So I guess they probably think he was trying to make some kind of joke. Anyways, this screenshot might also break your brain.

@Magnetron1

Pretty sure that guy is actually a far right wackjob, which is why it's strange they would ss and post all that, imo.

I think it's possible to support Palestinians, but not hamas and Israelis, but not bibi. Supporting innocent civilians is not the same as supporting terrorists and I think that's where a huge disconnect comes from.

@ExecutiveFunction404 He may be right wing, but he has a pro-Israeli slant. That's probably why they were willing to post it. They probably also figure he was poking fun at the trope, I guess? Also, "Free Palestine" has been used by people who think Israel's committing war crimes. Palestine elected Hamas who fire rockets at Israeli civilians & also burn down their homes. That's not environmentally friendly. Hamas is good at recycling Nazi ideology, though. Greta's treading on dangerous ground.

@Magnetron1

I'm not sure it's fair to say they elected hamas, so screw them. That's like saying our country elected trump, so we would deserve it when he overthrows our government and we become a dictatorship. Hamas overthrew the Gaza strip government after being elected to rule along with the PLA.

There hasn't been an election in Gaza since hamas took over.

Also, many on the right are pro Israel, but antisemitic.

Many on the left are pro innocent civilians on both sides.

@Magnetron1

Also, I just want to mention, considering it's hard to read tone via text. I'm not arguing, I'm just mentioning things that I'm not sure if you're aware of based on your comments. It allows a better understanding, imo.
