And the they aren't losing their shit over the eating of cats and dogs. They are losing their shit over a completely false story that Haitian immigrants are stealing people's pets and eating them. Nobody is losing their shit over culture-specific food. The story is the bait on the hook of another culture war to make idiots angry.

I saw 9/11 happen literally right in front of me. I also recall it as a time when this country was unified. Yeah - a couple of people with no scientific background talking about what temperature melts steel - but for the most part we were all together - nobody cared about who you voted for and nobody was refusing to help for their own selfish bs because 3K people died. I don’t even think they play live anymore and haven’t for many years. It’s mostly pre-recorded. The legend had always been that ALIVE 2’s vocals and guitar solos were all recorded after the fact (at electric lady studio in nyc). Never been a big fan. Too much merch. Not enough good songs.
