I always prided myself on NOT being swayed by advertising. I cant remember ever buying a product because of a commercial. Enter BJ’s Wholesale Club. They r running 2 ads in Indy. One celebrates putting small gas stations out of business. The other slyly mocks a dying man in his hospital bed (“BJs prices are killing me” doctor: “And other things…”). Anyway yeah I won’t be stepping foot in that place because their ads are in really bad taste and their ad agency cant read a room.
