Trump’s efforts to have election workers refuse to certify election results if Harris wins won’t work so well in the five swing states controlled by Democratic governors — Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. It may work in Georgia and Nevada. It’s a great example of the importance of paying attention to state-level races.

From what I read in The Bulwark, “the plan” is to have his minions refuse to certify everywhere possible, even in races he wins if needed, to force the election into a constitutional crisis where nobody earns enough electoral votes. I guess he envisions the supreme court handing him the white house. Worse though, is that in the gap after jan 20, Mike Johnson is the sitting president.

@MPCavalier Congress gets sworn in January 3, I think, so if the House flips, Jeffries would be next in line. I guess the question is how screwed up could all elections get, not just the race for President, if there are certification delays.

Its safe to assume that there will be mass chaos should Kamala win, and that will impact the down ballot stuff. Batten down the hatches.
