Every day as I'm walking downtown, if I see a worm or a snail that has been unfortunate enough to crawl on the sidewalk, I pick them up and put them back in the grass. Am I the only person who does that?

Not at all. We found a snake in our garage, curled up in a remote corner and we caught it and set it free in the woods. If we find a big spider in our house we "re-locate" it outside.
@MPCavalier Love to hear that. Those creatures are just trying to live their best lives and I like to help them continue to do so. Every living thing serves some purpose.
Except earwigs.
