Not really loving that the word "weird" is becoming synonymous with "unstable mis-educated transphobe racist white male supremacist"
I used to like that word. Why can't we just call them shit heads?

That actually makes sense, thank you. I wish they could have used something else but i guess “extreme” wasn’t really working! I hope we can reclaim that word for the truly weird.

I have a theory about it…
I read an article recently (sorry reference not handy) that said the swing voters are not statistically old, young, Black or white or from any particular cultural background, not statistically any gender but statistically they self-identify as “moderate”. So I think the “weird” label is intended to give them pause. 🤔
