If NASCAR fans want something to get pissed about - it should be their anemic attendance at the races. The IMS was maybe a third full yesterday.
@MPCavalier And that's at every race outside the South. NASCAR got greedy and expanded way too fast. Other than New Hampshire and Delaware,their bread and butter is the South. The TV ratings stink too. NBC and Fox both get dissed on a regular basis for shitty coverage. And fans whine about needing a GPS to find the channel every week. And the ticket prices. Their redneck image doesn't help either.

we used to try to watch or partially watch every race but it's gotten ridiculous - with some races shown on channels we don't even get. My son has turned me on to F1 - 20 cars, the races are over in under two hours - no racism and no politics.
@MPCavalier I used to watch drag racing and demolition derby on Wide World of Sports when I was a kid. The Confederate flags and racism immediately turned me off from NASCAR.
