New gear day. Trying out a Cloudlifter mic pre-amp. It adds 25db to the input to give those pesky condenser mics a boost (they are gain pigs). Had to do some problem solving with a buzz in the audio chain that the pre-amp fell in love with, but a re-config on the gadget shelf seems to have stifled it for now. I am def getting the much louder mic volume now - running it thru the full test tomorrow when we record.
