Yeah, I had to cut back drastically on my political reading and news watching. My heart can't take it. It's painful to know the realities around me. Plus, my rage makes my blood pressure spike. The hardest part is I can't release my fear and anger to those I need to, so it kind of stews. I still read a bit to stay in the know, but I'll get back to being fully checked-in when the trials begin.

I am right there with you, Lisa. Not having a outlet for that fear and anger in unhealthy - but we don't want to sound like "them", right? Gotta scream into the pillow sometimes. My kids have become my proxy. We were at the hardware store a few nights ago, i got a text and I said out loud, "hey a text from Jill Biden". The guy helping us said "at least it wasn't Joe", and started laughing like "AMIRIGHT?" My 12 and 14 just stared into his soul without a word.

Yes, the pillow has heard its share of screams...lol. These days I try to focus on my writing and do a lot of reading. Sometimes I watch movies I've seen repeatedly. Last week it was two of my favs, Now You See Me 1 & 2.
