Just returned from a few days at “Chain O’Lakes” state park. Four of the lakes have been stricken with blue-green algae, as thick as pea soup in some areas, and the fish started dying this morning. We went kayaking today and it was a real slog at point. Moving east into a long channel it finally cleared up but there were moments when we didn’t think we could paddle thru.
