🎧 YES, "Going For The One". Chris Squire passed 8 years ago today. Countless bass players, myself included, studied his work as part of our "onboarding". His unique and melodic bass lines, his carefully crafted tone, and his effortless joy for the instrument made him a major influence on me. GFTO is my favorite YES album. From the propulsive rock of the title track to the epic majesty of "Awaken", this is one of Chris' finest hours.
