🎧 Beth Orton, "Comfort of Strangers". Orton's moody folk-icana usually isn't my cuppa. You know those albums that you just can't pinpoint what you love about them? This is one of those for me. By the time it gets to "Heart of Soul" near the end, I want to go on and on. She had pretty much stripped out the electronica by this time, and it's one of her most enjoyable records.
